When you send an invite to FS with no INVITE the default behavior is to reject the call because the media can not be negotiated.  If you enable 3pcc mode on the profile then FS will send you a 200OK with a list of codecs and assume the softphone is going to make a 3pcc call which involves making another call to a 3rd destination and responding to FS 200ok with ACK+sdp.  This is the only things we support when it comes to no codec.

Yes, its like there is no SDP in INVITE and FS is sending 480. I have tested with other phone, who send INVITE with SDP works fine.

This looks like the same problem I am having. As per Brian it is a NO ROUTE  issue. Check your FS console and look for a "switch_core_standard_on_routing() No Route, Aborting"  to confirm.

Subject: [Freeswitch-users] INVITE no SDP

Hi All,

I have registered freeswitch to an external gateway as a softphone, and it has registered nicely.

Now, i had given extension 1000 to freeswitch. When i try to call from external gateway to freeswitch, it always gives Temporarily Unavailable. However, if i register a phone with freeswitch i am able to dial that extension.

Can someone please help me out in this ?

Thanks,
Hemant
