2. I will capture the trace when there is no calls. This is a production box . Is there any way to capture a trace for a call when there is other calls in the box?

YES. You should always run a 64bit OS on a 64bit CPU... unless you like wasting have your cpu registers... but I bet you the problem will go away if you switch.
