I mean debugging the C source and being able to set breakpoints and step through the code, checking the contents of memory at each step.  And being able to connect to an instance of FreeSwitch running on another machine and step through the code.

What "Integrated Development Environment" do you use for developing and debugging FreeSwitch on Linux?

I'd like to install an IDE on my Debian Lenny box.  I tried installing Eclipse, but it said that my machine (P4) was not supported.  And being a Linux newbie, I have no idea what is out there that's good.

Ultimately I want to be able to connect to my DockStar and debug the instance of FS running there.
