Stretch won’t build yet.  I’ll have some patches over the next few weeks to fix that.  1.8 when released will likely target Stretch as its primary but still a bunch of testing to do.  The patches to fix build for stretch will go back into 1.6 branch, once they are complete and tested.

Stretch is the new stable on Saturday. I've looked through Confluence and the mailing lists but I can't find anything relevant. I see interesting possibilities at http://files.freeswitch.org/repo/deb, but I thought I would ask the mailing list if there's a plan yet to add or move the _production_ build to Stretch.
