Hi Christian,

I've had a quick look over this report (and we also spoke on IRC a little while back), but sadly it's beyond my level of experience.

Realistically a ticket is usually picked up by either someone who has an interest in the subject, or by a core developer based on priority.

So there are three viable options here;

a) Keep trying to fix the problem, mess around with the config, perhaps see if you can reproduce it in a clean room environment, i.e. in virtual machines
b) Try and bait the core developers to take a look (you can try the 5-for-1 approach mentioned in [1], or post a bounty [2])
c) See if anyone picks this up

Sorry I couldn't be of any further assistance on this one :/

Cal

Hi,

Im having problems with jitterbuffer when transcoding from GSM to PCMa. On the incoming (GSM) side we have mobile devices using 3G network and generating jitter and packet loss.
If a packet arrives late or lost, it gets replaced by a high pitch noise on the output (PCMa) stream.

I've tested with other codecs (pcmu,opus) on A leg which worked fine.

Settings in dialplan:
<action application="set" data="rtp_jitter_buffer_during_bridge=true"/>
<action application="set" data="jitterbuffer_msec=200:200:160"/>

Log,trace,audio are in ticket #5511

Could you give me some hints how to make it work?

Thanks in advance,
Christian
