Hello,

You don't need 1.6 or 1.8, just go straight to 1.10.

There are some changes, the biggest one related to moving Postgres support from the core to preloaded modules.

More info: https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/FreeSWITCH+1.10.x+Release+notes

You can install some dummy 1.10 box before the upgrade and copy your current config (ofc. you will need to some minor adjustments e.g. IP-addresses) and see what you've got.

Best regards,

Alex

Hello everybody,

I just found out my freeswitch was not updating because I had a i386
version and all new versions where amd64.

I can change to a amd64 buster version, but I would like to know what
configuration issues I will be going to have.

Is there an upgrade script from 1.4 to 1.10 (or do I need to upgrade to
1.8 or 1.6 first?).

How can I keep the current configuration working? and if not is there a
documentation page to make this move easier?

Kind regards,

Jelle de Jong
