For what it's worth, this recording captures exactly what I addressed with my dahdi_timer module. That module won't work for Sangoma, of course.To read a pretty detailed analysis of what the problem is, do a search of messages from me on this list and on the freeswitch dev list around September 2013. I would volunteer to port that timer module to work with Sangoma, but I don't have any Sangoma boards. If Sangoma wants to send me a PCIe board free of charge, and give me some guidance on how to derive the 8 KHz T1 clock via the equivalent of /dev/dahdi/timer (or however else), I'll give it my best shot. Otherwise, look at what I did in dahdi_timer.c.BobOn Thu, Jan 2, 2014 at 8:10 AM, Melanie Treitinger <treitinger@as-infodienste.de> wrote:
Hi Brian,
I have attached an a-leg recording of a distorted conference where I play the freeswitch welcome message for testing.
The recording is placed in the dialplan before the conference is created:
<action application="record_session" data="/path/to/recording/test_distortion_${strftime(%Y-%m-%d-%H-%M-%S)}.wav"/>
...
<action application="conference" data="${conference_command}"/>
Hardware is a Sangoma ISDN card (as recommended...).
Best Regards
Melanie

However we are using Sangoma and don't know yet how to adapt this patch for our cards. Does anyone know how to do this? Melanie
