Sorry, my reply was intended directly to the initial question.
I did understand that the timeout isn’t working (and thus the call is ringing too long)
I just checked our code, as I know we hat the same issue some time back, there we set (relevant part):
cmd +=
$",ignore_early_media=true";
cmd +=
$",call_timeout={call.CallTimeout}";
cmd +=
$",bridge_answer_timeout={call.CallTimeout}";
cmd +=
$",leg_timeout={call.CallTimeout}";
(it’s C# code that builds the Connection String and this is inside of the curly brackets)
So we set
ignore_early_media, call_timeout, bridge_answer_timeout, leg_timeout
This way the timeout works for us with and without early-media.
I’m sorry if I understand it wrong or this does not apply for u.
Note: this was tested in FS 1.10.1
Hth,
Marcel

Setting call_timeout and leg_timeout works for me (all inside the curly brackets)

adding
execute_on_media='sched_hangup +4',execute_on_answer='sched_hangup +3600'
could be a tweak to solve your problem

Hello all,
I'm trying to timeout an origination, using originate_timeout works fine _if_ i don't get a 183, so i tried combining both originate_timeout and bridge_answer_timout, but this doesn't seem to be working:
bgapi expand originate {bridge_answer_timeout=5,originate_timeout=2,execute_on_answer='sched_broadcast +3 playback somefile.wav'}sofia/outbound/1112223456@1.2.3.4
If i don't get a 183 before 2 seconds, the call is timed out properly, but if i do, the bridge_answer_timeout is never fired..
Anyone knows what this could be?
