Is there an easy way to add an application module project that is not in the existing Windows solution but is in the distributed ..\mod\applications source directory?

If I just manually add it to the solution with Visual Studio the Windows build breaks, but if I edit the Freeswitch.2010.sln file in various places it works OK… but there must be an easier way.
