What command can I use to install the package from the Debian repo on Ubuntu?

apt-get expects to see the Ubuntu release name.

Thanks

The debian packages work on Ubuntu. Ubuntu is really Debian underneath :)

I only saw packages for debian.

I want to try the webrtc support in 1.4.

Do you really need to build the packages yourself?

The Ubuntu packages should be working, can you try from a clean OS install and see if it's still broken?

Hi,

I'm trying to build ubuntu deb package for ubuntu 12.04 and above.
I've followed the script in the wiki which is supposed to work for ubuntu 12.04
http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Quick_Start
Unable to locate package freeswitch-meta-vanilla

I've tried the debscrbuilder script but it builds a package for debian sid
https://github.com/FreeSWITCH/FreeSWITCH/blob/master/scripts/ci/debsrcbuilder.sh

Is it possible to fix the script in the wiki or to make the debsrcbuilder script work for ubuntu?

Thanks
