here's how I'd do it:
- Store the incoming channel ID using db app
- Have an extension that you dial that reads the channel ID and invokes eavesdrop -OR- have an on-answer hook that originates a call to a phone with auto-answer set (and invokes eavesdrop) for a more traditional behaviour.
- Use bind keys to bind a key to intercept using the stored ID, forcing voicemail hangup and allowing the recipient to talk.
Logically sounds like it should work. I have not tested this though.--On 21 June 2014 19:44, d-OP <terry@digital-outpost.com> wrote:
Is there a way to configure freeswitch to allow a callee to screen a call by eavesdropping on the caller leaving a voicemail and then, if desired, pick up the handset to accept the call/pull it back from voicemail?
This was discussed briefly here in Aug of 2012 but there was no resolution.
Anybody have a working example they can share?
Thanks,
