The device is a Thomson ST2030 which has a
basic listing on the Interop Wiki page, but does not specifically mention
rfc2833 (although rtp is marked as "not tested"). I have not seen this
message before while running the FS version that I'm currently using 16543
- yes, I know that this is a few weeks old and I will update and/or raise
a bug once I've upgraded, but it would be nice to know if anyone else sees
problems with this phone,

switch_rtp.c:2196 Failed DTMF payloadcheck.
It usually means your device can't do rfc2833 correctly
and needs to have a bug opened so they can fix it.
