Hello,

Can you please confirm exactly what problem you are having with VAD?

You'll probably need to provide more information before anyone can help you with this, see [1] [2].

Please include the config you are using, debug logs and specific questions that you need answering - this will give you the best chance of getting a reply to your problem.

Hope this helps.

Cal

Hi all,

Just new to FS , I tried to setup the following schema:

VOIP PHONE (PCMU) – FS 1 (PCMU,iLBC) – Internet – FS2 (iLBC,PCMU) – Provider

The FS1 and FS2 talk each other with iLBC.

Everything works great except VAD.

I tried to enable it in

FS1 :

-          Internal sip profile ( out direction / both directions)

-          DialPlan (using rtp_enable_vad_in, rtp_enable_vad_out)

FS2 :

-          Internal sip profile ( out direction / both directions)

I am really confused what else should I change (By reading https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/VAD_and_CNG I did’nt find any other setting )

Any help would be highly appreciated,

Regards,

Dimosthenis
