I am setting up a test server of 1.2.stable on an Amazon EC2 Instance of a CentOS 5.8 server.

While doing the ./configure –C I get:

libtermcap, libcurses or libncurses are required!

But they are already installed:

yum install  ncurses ncurses-devel

Loaded plugins: priorities, security, update-motd, upgrade-helper

Setting up Install Process

Package ncurses-5.7-3.20090208.9.amzn1.x86_64 already installed and latest version

Package ncurses-devel-5.7-3.20090208.9.amzn1.x86_64 already installed and latest version

Nothing to do

Any ideas?   I’ve done this install many many times on normal CentOS 5.8 servers.
