Can you clarify - is it still running apparently doing nothing, or does it return to the prompt without finishing building?

It's normal to see nothing for a long time after that point. The output of the build itself goes to files in the logs/ directory that'll be created. Try logs/sid-amd64. If it returns to the prompt without building look in that file for errors.

I am trying to tweak mod_spandsp in master and deb package the code for use in my application.

I'm running "./debian/util.sh build-all -ibn -z9 -f /tmp/modules.conf" but it consistently gets stuck at "Building sid-amd64 debs.."

First off, I'm not sure if this is the correct way to package custom changes, but also why is the debian build stuck at this step?

Thanks!
