Hi!

Yes, I agree!

Best
use OS without GUI environment.

but:

1)
all the examples I've found use of Debian (FS + Raspberry)
2) but I do not run X, and judging by the processes of unnecessary overhead costs not
3)
just starting FS loads the CPU to 100%
4)
FS without load is not significant
5)
I can try to uninstall the components of desktop OS
http://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/4745/how-to-uninstall-x-server-and-desktop-manager-when-running-as-headless-server
6)
I can try a different operating system specifically for the server
7) RasPBX -- asterisk use Raspbian too

For realtime applications such as voip (Asterisk, FS) it is strongly recommended to use OS without GUI environment.

Hi Sergey,

In place of Raspbian, have you tried PiBang 'server' edition?

I want to try FS on this distro since I don't need a GUI.
