I'm new to FreeSWITCH and I'm trying to find more information on the scalability of mod_conference and mod_shout.

I'am aware that stress testing should be better done by some professional consulting from freeswitch team @ Anthony, Michael, Brian.

But before further investigating/spending money in freeswitch I would be glad to get some infos if FS is the right solution to accomplish our use case:

On a Intel Core i7-3770 with 32 GB Ram can you tell me some estimated values about 

- maximum concurrent conferences with average 3 speakers and 10 listeners

- publishing each conference to icecast with mod_shout

Does the codec has an big impact in terms of concurrent connection if using OPUS or PCM and also mod_shout (transcoding)?

I would appreciate a rough estimate about your experience values.
