The first question is why are you using Proxy Media?  Secondly I'm almost positive that issue was resolved.  Thirdly 1.0.5pre10 was just an SVN snapshot!  We have since fixed a multitude of tiny issues here and there since that time one being a bug related to proxy media mode.
