I have seen this issue as well with both v8 and b64. As a work around, do not load the v8 & b64 modules when freeswitch starts up.

In ./conf/modules.conf.xml, do this:

<!-- Loading the v8 and b64 modules result in critical errors. So don't load them.

    <load module="mod_vp8"/>

    <load module="mod_b64"/>

-->
