Because that &quot;big hammer&quot; has a million eyeballs on it and is probably going to be far more stable than what you write, and is highly unlikely to be your bottleneck anyway, so you&#39;re fairly likely to be wasting your time which you could be using on more interesting unsolved problems ;)<div>
