What if we record the session in encoded format, and use licenses when
we need to play in a different format?
Is this possible? What if the user called in from an G.729 enabled
endpoint, would a license be needed to play an encoded stream?

I am pretty sure it's the same on all commercial platforms, but of course,
they won't mention that in big letters on their marketing papers...
