Hi Denis,

Thank you for the response. I did something similar, I uses "none" for the failure_route and it doesn't play anything since it can't find the file. It would not work with an empty string "" though. Your solution sounds more elegant.

The wiki says the minimum accepted value for min is 1 and in my testing it would not accept either.

Thanks again,
Ali Pey

Hi.

For invalid file you could try to put "silence_stream://10": it "plays" a silence for ten milliseconds.

I used the play_and_get_digits dialplan application and it accepts 0 for min: i think perl implementation should be the same (have to look source code).

Oggetto: [Freeswitch-users] play_and_get_digits - with no invalid entry

Hello,

I need to play a prompt and get any digits if entered, but if there is no digit entered, simply continue. Basically I don't have any minimum entry required and there is no invalid entry.

I use playAndGetDigits in my perl code but it doesn't accept 0 for min or an empty string for invalid_file.

How can I achieve this behaviour?
Regards,
Ali
