There is a known problem with OSX 10.9: FS-5956 which is closed but unresolved. I tested the workaround but it is a mod to OSX source, it looks more like an OSX bug. If you don't mind waiting I am planning to add the new wiki for 10.9 after 10.9.2 is released. If there is no fix in OSX or Freeswitch to solve this by then the wiki will contain instructions for the workaround (copy the mod to the FS directory and mod it). So far it looks like no other patches are needed, the one I made up for clang works fine for 10.9. I have been working on testing the process last week and continuing today, but prefer to finalize the wiki after 10.9.2 which may have a fix but most likely will come from an Xcode update. Actually, it may be a gcc bug since the person in FS-5956 used gcc from homebrew not Xcode and had the problem.
