Well, I'm able to record into mp4 successfully using application record_mp4 after loading the mod_mp4v2 - For that I obviously changed the branch to video-bug, I'm able to record the files directly into mp4 hence not requiring conversion from FSV to MP4.

Like Michael suggested I ried doing record only and also tried using "uuid_record" from cli and it didnt work. using uuid_record <uid> start /tmp/filename.mp4 freezes the video stream on both ends.
thanks for all the help here.

Regards,
Sammy

I might be wrong, but I am guess depending on the context you might only get only audio. Other guess is maybe video codec you are using cant be transcoded to mp4.  I think I remember we had better luck of recording video from in conference config file rather than in dialplan.

Likely you are recording the audio stream and not the video stream.
