Hi - this, and much more, was already done in http://www.FusionPBX.com, which is written in PHP.

It has flexible permissions and modules, so you can turn everything off but the things you want and create new themes for it.

Or, you can use ESL or just "fs_cli -x " to get info from FreeSWITCH. You can use those to run the "show calls/channels" and "sofia�status�profile internal" and the like.
