Try setting the variable ignore_display_updates to true. When you answer sometimes the other side sends an updated information which does not include the name, thus it deletes the name from the display.

My Polycom SoundPoint IP 320 shows the Caller-ID name while the phone is ringing, but as soon as I pick it up, the name is changing to the number.  E.g. while ringing it says:
Call from: ACME WIDGETS(+14085551212)
but when I pick up the phone it says:
From:+4085551212(+14085551212)

I know I messed something up, but I don't know what.  Any ideas?
