Anthony,

I totally agree, I report bugs/issues on jira.  However I am not sure this is a bug, I just 'd like to ask about it...
Maybe  I do something wrong ...etc..
We are using FreeSWITCH as a softphone, they are registering and make calls through sip proxy (unfortunetly not FS yet), and we would like to do funny spies, which can listen to, talk into the speech so they can speak with the caller for example, and the called party doesn't hear them (give some help for example), and  a threway manner too.

original call:

sip ----- proxy  -----sip ----FS --portaudio ---soundcard

spy:

sip---->proxy ------->sip -----FS --->eavesdrop the portaudio channel.

1., portaudio is hear the spy, but the original call is active yet
2.  make other half deaf (sip) and portaudio talk with the spy
3.  everyone can hear, and talk with eachother.

Thanks,
Tamas

ps: next week I try this w/o proxy (using just FS) and if i have the same problem i report on jira

How are you using it exactly?  What is the uuid you eavesdropping on doing when you call it.
Describe the phones you are using and the exact situation because we are unfamiliar with this behaviour
and we test it regularly.

If you are going to use the mailing list to report issues, it's ok for minor issues but really you should collect as much info and logs as you can before you report the issue and preferably save it on jira to save the step of asking for more information which is inevitable anyway.

Hello,

Could you please tell me the documented behaviour is correct on this page:
http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Misc._Dialplan_Tools_eavesdrop

When I eavesdrop an uuid without any dtmf command:
The other half is deaf, and I can talk with uuid, and we are hear the
other half.
0 and 1 dtmfs seems to be inefficient, nothing change, the behaviour is
the same as above.

But when i try with dtmf 2, 3 or three_way app. the uuid hear a terrible
noise.
I tried this with svn trunk r8193 both on windows xp and ubuntu linux.

I would like to make somehow a three way call.
And somehow uuid should talk with the other half during spy, could you
tell me if is it possible?

Thanks any help,
Tamas
