The subject of radius comes up every now and then, but other than that, lack of interest seems to be the problem here... If you want to enhance it yourself, patches are welcome, or if you want to sponsor specific features contact consulting@freeswitch.org
You could also bounty things and see if that gets it any traction.

one thing that I do not understand, is that why Freeswitch has so bad RADIUS support. RADIUS is quite universal, can be load-balanced and so on. Ok we have mod_radius_cdr but it does not even send call-id in RADIUS requests..
Is there any way how I could send callid with this module?
