Dialplan is parsed in a hunting and execution phase. First it collects the list of actions to run, then it executes them.

In your script you're calling the lua script "inline" which means it executes during the hunting phase. If you aren't setting effective_caller_id_name until the execution phase then the lua script will run first.

I suggest avoiding inline unless you actually require it so the logic is easier to follow. If you do need to run that inline then set effective_caller_id_name inline as well.

I'm trying to use it in an lua script that is called right after the above action line but the log seems to indicate that it doesn't actually get executed until some time later.
