Please ignore this - appears to be some weird fluke.  After I restarted my instance, CPU usage went back to the previous levels.

I upgraded to the latest master and it seems that it is using 30%-50% more CPU per active conference compared to the previous master from late May 2014.  

Is this expected or am I missing something?
