Pingdom can monitor the :5060 port, they have email (within their free 1-site-only tier) and some sort of SMS support (maybe only paid).
It's just a TCP check on port 5060 upto every minute.

"There’s also a free plan that lets you monitor 1 website/server.
We’ve included Real User Monitoring and 20 SMS alerts."

I also use uptimerobot - unlimited free checks, but only at 5 minute resolution. Just specify "custom port" -- 5060.
They have some sort of SMS option, but it relies on the free SMS services so they don't promise it will work...

Do any of you freeswitchers have a recommendation of a service to monitor gateway reg or freeswitch status. Something that can have a web interface and SMS/Email alerts.
