I check out master branch of freeswitch and tried to compile it on a OSX Maverick, and I got compile error on libfreeswitch.la

    Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:

      "_iconv", referenced from:

          _apr_xlate_open in libaprutil-1.a(xlate.o)

          _apr_xlate_conv_buffer in libaprutil-1.a(xlate.o)

      "_iconv_close", referenced from:

          _apr_xlate_open in libaprutil-1.a(xlate.o)

          _apr_xlate_cleanup in libaprutil-1.a(xlate.o)

          _apr_xlate_open in libaprutil-1.a(xlate.o)

I have openssl installed

    $ openssl

    OpenSSL> version

    OpenSSL 1.0.1f 6 Jan 2014

If I type `which openssl`, I got a different path, then the one show in the error

    $ which openssl

    /opt/local/bin/openssl
