Since 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 are in the same repository as 1.2.23 he's wanting to be sure he doesn't go from 1.2 to 1.4 earlier than planned, which a straight upgrade might well do.

This is nothing to do with Git, Richard is asking about Debian packages.

Richard, there are no new 1.2 releases coming, AFAIK 1.2.23 is the latest. If you already have an older release installed you can do `apt-get upgrade freeswitch` to get 1.2.23.

You need to change to stash, Git is no longer running https://stash.freeswitch.org/projects/FS/repos/freeswitch/branches?base=v1.2.stable

Subject: [Freeswitch-users] Upgrading FreeSWITCH v1.2.x from Debian repos

Hi Ken and team

Is 1.2 still maintained?

I have a few FS boxes running 1.2 installed from Debian repos. Can't upgrade to 1.4 yet but will do so as soon as I can.

In the meantime is it possible to do something like apt-get install freeswitch=1.2.23 to upgrade from repos without going to 1.4?

Richard
