Hi - Hassan is spot on. I ran freeswitch only, not fs_cli. I told you I am new to freeswitch but this one has me banging my head against the wall in shame because I really should have realised that.

Thanks a stack

How did you get to know that you are in the FreeSWITCH cli? Did you
run the "fs_cli" command? Or just "freeswitch"?

I am completely new to freeswitch and have just installed it on a Centos
5.5 server. All seemed well but when in the freeswitch cli, no Bash
Commands are found. So /help will return Unknown Command.

Any help with this would be appreciated and please go easy on me with
the jargon!!

Cheers,

Theo
