Sorry but I can't agree on this.

Having two separate sessions is not the same to full headers hiding.

Our goal to be in the middle of THIS call but callback may have another path, fe via callee proxy, isn't it?

And I MUST know from URI to be able to return the call.

IMHO current behavior kills normal communications and leads us to wasting resources for incorrect callbacks..

Ok let it be but not as default - we always can rewrite header if we want to.

Other B2BUA like Sippy or OpenSIPStack is not rewriting original From

FreeSWITCH is a B2BUA, not a proxy.

The aleg and bleg are 2 different separate calls, and FS joins the signalling media on the 2.

The From etc headers have to have the address of FS because that's what's making the call.
