you would have to make sure postgres is setup and configured properly and running so you can access it from psql and from freeswitch itself.

but when I try to access the DB

psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
        Is the server running locally and accepting
        connections on Unix domain socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
 
freeswitch is on debian 9
