[Freeswitch-docs] Third party application
Hi DocTeam, In confluence, we haven't created a location where to keep documentation on 3rd party application, for example: https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/VoIPmonitor https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Billing_Solutions Any ideas where to put those? What about a new top menu section called "FS Addons" or "FreeSWITCH solutions" ? Then under this top section, we could have sub sections "Billing", "Monitoring", "Broadcasting", "PBX", "IVR", etc...? Thoughts? -- Kind regards, /Areski
Maybe a section called "Free and Commercial Solutions" with the subsections you mentioned. 2014-08-29 13:57 GMT-03:00 Areski <areski@gmail.com>:

I'm kinda against any commercial stuff on the wiki unless they are helping out with said docs and supporting the project. On Fri, Aug 29, 2014 at 12:26 PM, Ítalo Rossi <italorossib@gmail.com> wrote:

I suppose that you guys have to cut a decision on this. I'm a good example of peoples building open source/commercial solution on top of FreeSWITCH with Newfies-Dialer, but for instance I never created a page on the wiki. There is a lot of good and bad of having this in wiki/confluence, it could help users to find solutions that work on top and with FS but at the same time, it's an open door to abuse, so if it's allowed it should be regulate in some ways! Newfies I think is one of example of where ³they² (in this case Areski) is helping with the docs project... I think you are right tho ABM need to make this call... K On 8/29/14 5:14 PM, "Areski" <areski@gmail.com> wrote:

To make it clear, I was not talking about creating a Newfies page :) https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/VoIPmonitor https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Billing_Solutions I wanted to find out if we want to port those pages and if we do how and where. Thanks! On Sat, Aug 30, 2014 at 12:17 AM, Ken Rice <krice@freeswitch.org> wrote:
