[Freeswitch-docs] fail2ban security and module pages
Hi All, Last week or so I updated the fail2ban page to make the format more consistent with the rest of confluence: https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Fail2Ban I'm wondering if we can remove the information about the module from the page above, and the module page itself as it seems it's gone from github: https://github.com/kyconquers/freeswitch-mod_fail2ban There is this page with the same project name but no updates in nearly 4 years: https://github.com/mehulsbhatt/freeswitch-mod_fail2ban What's your thoughts? Thanks! -- ------- inum: 883510009027723 sip: jungleboogie@sip2sip.info xmpp: jungle-boogie@jit.si

Good job

I think mod_fail2ban from PR738 <https://freeswitch.org/stash/projects/FS/repos/freeswitch/pull-requests/738/overview> has more fine code. I recomend use it. Pull PR and compile.
What's your thoughts?
Thanks!

Oh, nice to see something being worked on so recently. Will this be merged into trunk/master, or will it always remain as a module? If it's a module, than this page should be updated/replaced: https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/mod_fail2ban -- ------- inum: 883510009027723 sip: jungleboogie@sip2sip.info xmpp: jungle-boogie@jit.si
I suspect that you're better off asking on the -users list to find out exactly where to get Fail2Ban since so many people recommend it. Once we know what the deal is, then update that Confluence page with the correct info. Thanks. Bote

It may pay to examine FusionPBX and see how they install and configure Fail2Ban. There's no reason to reinvent if we don't have to. Jim. On 05/02/2016 07:15 AM, Bote Man wrote:
