[Freeswitch-docs] Javascript vs java messed up
hi, all links from https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Category:Javascript end up in mod_java in Confluence. How is this redirection done? Some macro in mediawiki?
Ken Rice puts a line in their proxy to redirect pages that we have noted as moved to Confluence. I'm just guessing that this is a Human fingers or autocorrect problem? Thanks for noticing that! another question -- how can I see the original Mediawiki pages and not get redirected to Confluence? For example, there are several pages for mod_perl, and only one of them is migrated, but I can't open the old ones, I get always redirected. You cant bypass the redirect as this is done on reverse proxy that protects these boxes... If you have specific pages or specific instances I need to know exactly which ones so we can adjust the regex patterns that handle the redirects On 3/2/15, 10:33 AM, "Stanislav Sinyagin" <ssinyagin@gmail.com> wrote:

Now a bunch of Javascript_* pages are redirected to mod_v8. If you look at the migration status spreadsheet, most of those pages are not yet migrated, so they should not be redirected to confluence: (see lines 326 and below in the spreadsheet) Then, a number of pages (lines 623-627) are starting with mod_perl in their name, but not yet migrated -- they are now redirected to mod_perl in Confluence. Also I noticed that some pages are marked as "complete", but the old wiki does not have the note about migration status on those pages. Is there a downloadable archive of the old wiki? I could finalize the mod_perl pages if I had access to the source -- then redirection wouldn't be needed to change. On Mon, Mar 2, 2015 at 6:26 PM, Ken Rice <krice@freeswitch.org> wrote:

FWIW the content sources of the old wiki pages can still be access via the https://wiki.freeswitch.org/index.php?title=Javascript_DB_Close&action=edit style url :-) (but yes, in the JS case the redirects are incorrect, as noted in F326 of the spreadsheet) Thanks, all! ________________________________________ From: Nickolas Oliver Sent: Wednesday, March 04, 2015 6:52 PM To: FreeSWITCH Docs Team Subject: RE: [Freeswitch-docs] Javascript vs java messed up Was about to move the pages listed on https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Misc_Javascript_functions but `bridge` through `system` are being redirected as Stanislav noted ________________________________________ From: freeswitch-docs-bounces@lists.freeswitch.org [freeswitch-docs-bounces@lists.freeswitch.org] on behalf of Stanislav Sinyagin [ssinyagin@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, March 02, 2015 4:32 PM To: FreeSWITCH Docs Team Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-docs] Javascript vs java messed up Now a bunch of Javascript_* pages are redirected to mod_v8. Ok so I turned off the redirects for the time being, someone needs to go thru the sheet and make sure that things that will get grabbed on a redirect are tagged if they should not be, keeping in mind that the redirects are using mod rewrite in apache and the pattern matching is regex... So its possible that mod_java grabs mod_javascript also unless we make provisions for that (which we can by being a bit more explicit with the rewrite rule generation On 3/6/15, 2:31 PM, "Nickolas Oliver" <noliver@crexendo.com> wrote:

Could we move the mod_javascript rule above the mod_java (match first, rewrite first)? Or edit the mod_java rule to require an underbar? ( /java_/ ) (sorry if these are too simplistic/caused issues in the past) ________________________________________ From: freeswitch-docs-bounces@lists.freeswitch.org [freeswitch-docs-bounces@lists.freeswitch.org] on behalf of Ken Rice [krice@freeswitch.org] Sent: Friday, March 06, 2015 2:29 PM To: FreeSWITCH Docs Team Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-docs] Javascript vs java messed up Ok so I turned off the redirects for the time being, someone needs to go thru the sheet and make sure that things that will get grabbed on a redirect are tagged if they should not be, keeping in mind that the redirects are using mod rewrite in apache and the pattern matching is regex... Would be best if we could just get the rest of the java/javascript pages moved completely then it would matter.... And then we could set explicit page name redirects On 3/6/15, 3:41 PM, "Nickolas Oliver" <noliver@crexendo.com> wrote:
