[Freeswitch-dev] To tab or not to tab?
Sofia_glue.c contains real tabs, and I'm editing with vim, but expandtab is set in the vim options at the bottom of the file so vim is using spaces instead. Which way is it or doesn't it matter? Simon
That is the question. We can clean up by using indent or simple replaces, if we need to. It gets really fun when some code shows tabs and on the next line shows spaces for indentation. Real tabs have always been my preference... Matt On Thu, 3 Jul 2008, Simon Capper wrote:

it should be real tabs... if the vim stuff in the bottom is wrong, can you tell me what the right stuff is and I'll fix it Mike On Jul 3, 2008, at 12:21 PM, Simon Capper wrote:

Remove "expandtab" from the vim options. You are going to have to touch almost every file in the tree :( Simon On 7/3/08 9:57 AM, "Michael Jerris" <mike@jerris.com> wrote:

No worries - just bake a "perl pie"! perl -pi -e 's/expandtab//' *c -MC
