[Freeswitch-dev] Detecting and blocking fax calls
We receive an inordinate amount of spam fax calls to FreeSwitch that we do not need to handle for any reason. I came across this method, https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Misc._Dialplan_Tools_fax_detect, to hopefully detect and drop these calls. Is there any danger of this method mistaking any live calls and dropping those on accident? Thanks in advance.
False detect is always a possibility, but I would wager that it is a remote possibility. I see no harm in trying out this method. Besides, if you run into issues you can always disable it. Also, this question probably would have been okay for the -users list. You definitely have more eyes over there. -MC On Thu, Sep 12, 2013 at 3:22 PM, Everyday User <everydayuser11@gmail.com>wrote:
