I would start here: http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/SIP_TLS We already support TLS, unless you're talking about some other method I'm unaware of. -- Brian West brian@freeswitch.org FreeSWITCH Solutions, LLC PO BOX PO BOX 2531 Brookfield, WI 53008-2531 Twitter: @FreeSWITCH_Wire , @briankwest http://www.freeswitchbook.com http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com T: +1.918.420.9001 | F: +1.918.420.9002 | M: +1.918.424.WEST iNUM: +883 5100 1420 9001 ISN: 410*543 Skype:briankwest PGP Key: http://www.bkw.org/key.txt (AB93356707C76CED) On Sep 16, 2013, at 11:52 AM, 彭勇 <ppyy@pubyun.com> wrote:

And if for some reason you're inventing your own nonstandard encryption see https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2011/04/schneiers_law.html Either use TLS or a VPN. On Wednesday, September 18, 2013, Brian West wrote:

If you are talking about the voip provider like ET263 in China, I would offer some suggestions. For sip part you need to modify libsofia to support customized encryption. For RTP packet, it is related to switch_rtp.c in Freeswitch. Actually, I have supported ET263 encryption in my modified version of FS. Hope this info is helpful to you. Sam, Then you'll be providing those patches back to the project? Its nice you've added this functionality you could be nice and provide patches upstream. On Sep 18, 2013, at 11:46 PM, Sam HuiYe <sam.huiye@yahoo.com.au> wrote:

Hi Brian, Thank you for your suggestion of providing a patch for this. Because I am new to this developer group and have no idea how to provide patches. Can you give some hint on where to start? I am keen to get involved and contribute some of my codes.
