[Freeswitch-dev] Auto answer for inbound calls?
Hey guys, Is it possible to set auto-answer true for an inbound call? I know there must be a way using sip headers, But I need full list of options to try the optimum one. -- Regards Bhavesh GS LAB (O) +91 20 4671 1256 (M) +91 86000 64681
you can not force someone who calls you to answer the call they have just made, that makes no sense at all. On Jul 30, 2014, at 2:19 AM, Bhavesh Soni <bhavesh.soni@gslab.com> wrote:

If you are trying to get the phone to auto-answer once it is called, that¹s usually an alert info header but its specific to what phones you are using... And even then on something like a polycom that can be adjusted on a per phone basis via configuration... If you are making calls to the PSTN and want the called party to auto-answer good luck with that... If you are doing a dialer... Theres a whole other list of things to address and you¹ll prob want pro help with that On 7/30/14 11:27 AM, "Bhavesh Soni" <bhavesh.soni@gslab.com> wrote:

No, but various endpoints support auto-answer if so configured - I don't think this is standardised, but Grandstream phones will take note of headers something like this : Call-Info: answer-after=0 --Dave On 30/07/2014 16:27, Michael Jerris wrote:

Yes David, Precisely, when I am originating call with sip_auto_answer=true, I am able to see 200OK for my INVITE from remote end. Also, header contains answer-after=0 field. But, somehow remote end soon sent BYE and session closed. I want to send automated media transfer between them during this session. Hi Bhavesh - This probably isn't the right list for this issue - it sounds like it's an issue with the endpoint that you're using. --Dave On 31/07/2014 06:33, Bhavesh Soni wrote:
