My switch.conf.xml file has   <param name="loglevel" value="debug"/>.

The funny thing is that I see the low level debugs (NOTICE and INFO and DEBUG) but not the higher level ones (WARNING and ERROR).  I would think if anything it should be the other way around.  I have to keep poking in the code to change SWITCH_LOG_WARNING to SWITCH_LOG_NOTICE so that I can see what's going on!

Have you set the console log level accordingly?

You have to set it to debug like this: console loglevel debug

You might also have the loglevel capped so you must issue this command: fsctl loglevel debug

I hope that helps.

I am not seeing SWITCH_LOG_ERROR or SWITCH_LOG_WARNING msgs from sofia_presence.c in the log, though loglevel is set to "debug" and "debug-presence" is set to 10. I do see INFO, NOTICE, and DEBUG messages.  Is there something else to set? or do messages at these levels go somewhere different?
