no this monolithic approach was replaced in FreeSWITCH with actual dial-plan modules.
The routing state only happens once before a call is handed off to execute state to perform the actions acquired from the dialplan module in the routing state.

Hi all,

Asterisk provides functions to scan the dialplan during dialing like :
ast_matchmore_extension
ast_exists_extension
ast_canmatch_extension

Is there a way to do it in Freeswitch ?

It allows to dial directly a number matching the dialplan without
waiting for the timeout between key press.
