There is no way to know before any testing is done in your exact scenario. Two main things are transcoding and resampling. If you will have it you will need a powerful hardware.

Bty the way, for full-featured g729 with FreeSWITCH you may need our commercial modules. You can contact sales@signalwire.com to learn more.
