[Freeswitch-commiters] Just a couple of things for the commiters list
1. the proper email address for the list is Freeswitch-commiters@lists.freeswitch.org 2. Coming very soon we will have a FreeSWITCH Commiters Conference Call. We are targeting like Thursday 12 Noon EST5EDT, 9AM PST8PDT Tenatively we are shooting fo the first call to happen Thursday June 6th. The first call will be mandatory if you wish to keep your commit access. Why are we doing this? To make sure all commiters are on the same page, Cant make that time? Suggest some times that we might move it to. Yes we realize that it might be possible that not everyone can make the call on any given week, but as the project is growing quite rapidly, we need to make sure that everyone is on the same page with patches etc. If you have any questions or conflicts please let us know. Hi, 2013/5/29 Ken Rice <krice@freeswitch.org>:
the proper email address for the list is Freeswitch-commiters@lists.freeswitch.org Coming very soon we will have a FreeSWITCH Commiters Conference Call.
OK
We are targeting like Thursday 12 Noon EST5EDT, 9AM PST8PDT
I am not sure to correctly parse this (english is not my native language). Can you format it in some common format like RFC-2822, RFC3339 or ISO-8601? Probably 17:00 for me CEST. If so, can it be 1 hour later?
Tenatively we are shooting fo the first call to happen Thursday June 6th. The first call will be mandatory if you wish to keep your commit access.
This will be with http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Weekly_Conference_Call? I'm afraid to miss the call 😱
Extra question how many people have commit access currently? Regards -- Mathieu Parent
We should probably ask people to proactively RSVP for this somehow, so that we know if anyone hasn't received it (e.g. they filter mailman headers to low-priority folders) so we can reach out to them personally. On 2013-05-29 16:48, Ken Rice wrote:

I maybe in travel by June 6th. but will try my best to be in. Looks like it would be 12p.m. for me in UTC+8. I believe we're currently discussing a call at: 2013-06-06 16:00:00 +0000 (UTC) with two people having expressed a preference for 1700 UTC. I'd probably prefer 1700 UTC as well, so that makes three. But then that's asking our friends in China to call in at 1am their time. (As a recurring item, this call as proposed would shift to 1700 UTC when the US moves off of DST for a few months of the year.)
btw, seems we have to click Reply All to reply to the list?
I consider this the correct header behavior for a list. Thunderbird picks up on this and adds a "Reply to List" option.
Hi all, It seems we should meet at this time: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converted.html?iso=20130606T16&p1=0&p2... so, I will call in (chances are 95%). I would wote for not changing this time, especially for "later". I know it is quite early in the US, but in Europe it is generally family time (after working hours). Since there are some people which will not participate, what about splitting this kickoff meeting? First on 6th, and second two weeks later, at least one is mandatory?
