<div dir="ltr">So we use FreeSWITCH in a few places in our network.<div><br></div><div><i>Customer Edge SBC:</i></div><div>Freeswitch sits behind Kamailio, and acts as an SBC performing topology hiding, <br>RTP Proxying, Transcoding ( where needed - with Sangoma cards ), Number manipulation.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Carrier SBC:<br></div><div>We also use FreeSWITCH as an SBC between our network and carriers.</div><div>Topology hiding, RTP Proxying, number manipulation ( carriers want traffic sent in varying number formats )</div><div><br></div><div>Intelligent Network Nodes:</div><div>We use FreeSWITCH with XML Curl / LUA etc. to handle call routing, conditional routing ( time, source location, etc. ).
