<p dir="ltr">As far as I know, xmpp does not guarantee the receipt at the client side. Telegram does.</p>

No offence, but why would you rely on third parties for that,<br>
instead of implementing XMPP / Jabber on your own infrastructure<br>
and desired clients (desktop, mobile phones, or whatever platform<br>
...)?<br>
