    I see... the datasheet says it&#39;s USB2 but whether the I2S interface
    is routed that way or direct to PCIE is another story. That said,
    the USB adapter is only for convenience, I could plug it directly
    into the motherboard. <br>
    I had some difficulty finding the &#39;ideal&#39; dongle - quad band 3g with
    voice, this was the next option.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>

          I would look into other USB dongles, almost for sure there are
          some that are compatible with your network and mod_gsmopen.<br>
